George of Greenwich - Delicatessen & Fine Wines

A fusion of Old Greenwich and New Europe, George of Greenwich is a sophisticated sandwich shop that puts an emphasis on simple, fresh ingredients to create inspired paninis, and delicious pastries. In an enviable position next to the leafy Greenwich Park, Bar Du Musée Café is perfectly situated for you to buy a summer picnic and dine al fresco, while fashionable bar stools and large leather sofas offer a tempting alternative indoors.

The Bar Du Musée Café site previously housed an antiques shop, and this legacy continues in the décor of comfortable furniture, antique paintings and etchings, and a classic grandfather clock. There is no better setting to enjoy one of our indulgent crepes or high teas. The latter is a recent addition to the menu, a quintessentially English treat that can be savoured at any time of day.

Our sister café takes the same stylish approach to café culture in the covered Greenwich Market place. Here, the atmosphere is more akin to a diner and menu favourites include baked potatoes and steak pie. There's outside seating on the edge of the Market (open every Thursday to Sunday), making it the ideal spot to sit and watch the world go by while enjoying mugs of our splendid coffee.
